I have been getting a lot of skipped beats and palputations and by reading these threads it looks like a lot of them are associated with the perimenopause. Hi, I dont think that it carrys on much past 2 years at its worst from what i have read about it. If you look at the posts on menopause eiterh on this wite or any others it seems that more woman write in for perimenopausal symptoms than they do for post menopausal so my theory is things just must get a whole lot better after than before. I have had similar episodes. Mine are realted to Atrial Fibrillation. This can be treated with medication so I would recomend that you see a cardiologist or better still an elecphyisist who will do an ecg and an echo of your heart to see how it is behaving
