6 weeks and no baby is seen

I am 6 weeks pregnant just had a vaginal u/s but unfortunately we saw a sac but no baby.  I am not sick or bleeding or having any pain at all.  The doc is having me go for blood work to compare my HCG levels.  I hope everything is ok.  Some say it might still be too early to see the munchkin but you never know.  I hope for the best.

Hi, don't get discouraged, I've read a number of medical articles where no fetal pole, etc. was found and a few weeks later everything was fine.

I've lost 2 in the last few months.  Had back to back miscarriages one at 11.5 weeks and one at 5 weeks.  Hopefully we'll get another chance.  Don't let the worrry overwhelm you.  Things may just work out fine!

I'll keep you in my prayers.

damunchkinsmom, I am in the same boa! I went n @ 6w1d and was told that I had a sac but no fetal pole.  I am praying for you, praying that things will shift around for you at your next appointment. Please keep me posted!

Thank all of you for your warm thoughts, prayers and POSITIVITY! I will definitely keep you posted.  I go back to the doctor on Thursday 9-11-08.
