ultrasound

Had our u/s this morning and much to just about everyone's surprise we are having not one but two boys. They looked great and healthy and are measuring at just where they should it was so nice to see them again. Still looking forward to those first solid unmistakable kicks though. Been taken off of the stricter bedrest but still advised to take it easy and was told that i will probably go back on bedrest around 20-24 weeks so i am going to try really hard to enjoy myself without over doing it!!!!

I am so glad to hear that the babies AND you are doing well.  When you announced that you were having two boys, I remember commenting to you back in mid July that in my generation, it was always thought to be a boy, when the heart rate was lower and the girls are always higher.  I know that is not always the case, though.  In this circumstance, I think I said I'll bet it's two boys and it was right...WOW!

Enough silliness about the heart rates...I am just SO glad to know that you and the precious boys are doing well.  That is music to everyone's ears.

Take care of yourself sweetheart.  Will you be getting any 3-D ultrasounds done?  If you have any u/s to post that you had this morning, I am sure all of us would love to see them.

Yah! I am so glad you are off the strict bed rest. Go Blue team!! I am having a boy as well. A very active boy at that... He moves all the time!! It is so exciting! So I went to the Dr yesterday and I have some freedom too. I also have the looming "eventually" will be back in bed, but I also plan to enjy this while it lasts. I made an amazing breakfast for me and hubby this morning! The liitle things we take for granted like cooking for ourselves. I make the BEST breakfast so it really was a treat! I love cooking so I am so glad I can do it some. I will try not to overdue it, but it might be hard knowing this freedom is temporary!

Congrats!!  I am sooooo happy to hear that all is going well!  TWO boys!!  that is great!!
