I thought I was pregnant again....Jeremiah just turned 4 months!

I have gotten my period 3 times since I gave birth 4 months ago. The first time was 8 weeks after delivery. Then 3 weeks after that it showed up again. This time I had almost a 40 day cycle ( i was expecting it on day 30)
I guess things are still trying to go back to normal. Well in the middle of the night on sunday, like around 3am, my hubby wakes me up freaking out because he had a dream that I was pregnant and I was apparently telling my mom how excited I was and I couldn't wait....he said when I get up in the morning to go get a preg. test and make sure. For my hubby to wake me up the middle of the night, I knew he was being serious because he is a heavy sleeper. So by morning I was so scared...because I had these weird feelings and I was so nauseous. I was really freaking out...because the last time I had a cycle that was that off was before James and I got married! (2 years ago) So when I woke up I tried to forget about it and was just hoping I would get my cycle. I ran out in the afternoon to get a test, came back, peed on the stick and put it down and didn't want to look at it. I sat there for a minute...then proceeded to wipe myself and BOOM! It was my period...haha. (I guess that's why I felt so sick!) I looked at the test and it was negative. Now I am not saying I wouldn't have been happy if I was pregnant again, but Jeremiah just turned 4 months and I want to focus on him right now and give my body time to recover. My midwife told me to wait at least a year so that my body can recover properly. I was just so scared! I guess we will be more careful in the future so this doesn't happen. eeeek! Hopefully my cycle will get back to normal soon. I use to be so regular...every 27-29 days, so this is so weird to me!
But on another note, Jeremiah just turned 4 months old on monday!! I cannot believe it! Where does the time go...seriously!! My little baby isn't so little anymore! He smiles and giggles all the time! And lately he just wants mommy....he even looks for me. Or sometimes he cries when someone else has him and I come over and pick him up and he immediately stops...it makes my heart melt! =)  I love being a mom....Jeremiah is such a wonderful baby and I didn't know I could love him so much. I love when he wakes up in the morning and lifts his head up from his bed and gives me a HUGE smile! Just makes my day!! He does that every morning now and never cries when he wakes up in the morning. He knows mommy will be right there. =) He is still nursing great...no problems there. I give him raw yogurt from time to time, which he absolutely loves now that he knows how to eat! He is just about 26 inches long now and weighs 18 pounds. He  wears 9-12 month clothing and onsies have to be 12-18 months. crazy!! That's my big boy!! =) I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing a tooth in the next month or so. =) Wow...time is just flying! I love seeing him change. Daddy is so proud of his little man and can't wait until he can teach him to ride dirt bikes, play football and do manly things together! =)  I love my family!!
