Herpes Or Not? Please Help !

Hi. I am very confused and scared. A few days after having sex with my boyfriend my vagina started to itch, when i looked there were no visible bumps or blisters, but it still itched and burned, and some discharge was there too. Then the next day it was gone, it does not itch or burn anymore, but there is still some discharge.
I was doing some research on the computer and it said that herpes can be confused with a yeast infection, i would like to know what this problem sounds more like. Please help me, I am very scared ! Thank you so much.
