Pre-surgery, my two largest nodules were 2.0 x 1.5 x 1.6 and 2.2 x 1.3 x 1.7 both on the gland.  Other nodules hyperechoic.  TSH was 2.97 and free T4 .91.   Surgery went well with no reason to suspect cancer.   Pathology report came back with two small findings on the back of the gland - no nodules were cancerous.   Surgeon and doctors sure it will be treated and cured.   I work at a courthouse with a wonderful young attorney a little older than you.   He has a family, wonderful kids, and is a kind, sensitve person in addition to being an unbelievable attorney.   Several years ago he battled skin cancer, and late last year had a lump removed from his neck that he found while shaving.   He is fine and never missed a beat.....
