I had the worst experience at a doctors office last week. I was sent to a Pain management doctor to help find a better solution for pain control. So, I went to this so-called doctor. I filled out all the paperwork and talked with the nurse and then saw this a-- doctor. He asked me about my pain and medical problems. I said I have polymyalgia and before I could finish speaking he says, "No, you don't" I just looked at him like he was nuts. He then keeps drilling me like I'm a Marine under his rule. He then says,"Have you considered Gastric Bypass?" I told him I have Ulcerative Colitis/Colitis and cannot have those surgeries. He then says, "No you don't have UC, it says right here you have IBS. Who told you that you have UC?" I said Dr. C. after he did my Colonoscopy. He says, "Dr. C isn't a Gastroenterologist he's only an internist." I told him I have UC and I bleed every time my colon swells up. He also says, "Why didn't you continue taking the Lyrica Dr. T prescribed you. Because it caused my hands and feet to swell up and it causes weight gain. My friend Mary gained almost a hundred pounds on the stuff. He then proceeds to prescribe me Trazodone which I will not take because it causes stomach problems and sometimes bleeding. When I finally got up to leave this jerks office he goes to his nurse and she says "Do you want me to schedule her for two weeks?" He says, "No, she can call and schedule one once she gets her MRI's(film)." All he had to do was have me sign a release and fax it to them and they could have mailed it to him. I will not drive sixty miles to pick up MRI film and I will not be going back to that idiot a-hole jerk. I always end up with doctors like this. I think he took one look at me and saw that I was fat and decided that was what my problem was and nothing else. I despise a doctor who hates fat people.
