Hey there everyone! I am a happy new mummy to be! I had a pretty shaky history with my first pregnancy experience ending very sadly with a termination before i turned sixteen. I suffered from depression because of this for years. I then fell pregnant again at 23 to a partner who used to physically abuse me, i also smoked back then and drank heavily due to stress and discovered that I had an ectopic but i didnt realise until it was too late at 12wks when it burst and i had to have my right tube removed completely. I then fell pregnant again! (To a different partner) at 33 yrs old (Just this year) on jan the 2nd but sadly exactly 12wks later i suffered a missed miscarriage. It was extra devastating for me, as my partner left me only a month before and i was all alone. I also lost my best friend in a tragic car accident a month after the miscarriage. I thought i would never live my dream of being a mother! With 35 approaching quickly and a not so good medical history, (I also had 3 pelvic fractures a few years before) and with no partner i was a mess. I then just decided to take a trip to Thailand to pamper myself and when I returned with a fresh attitude and just stopped trying to control my situation, i met and fell in love with my husband within 2 mths of returning, we were pregnant. I am now 31wks and expecting my first little miracle of life! We gave her a name as soon as we saw her on the first scan and I love her so much I have no words to describe how I feel. My beautiful big sister runs a company and hired me to do work for her at home as soon as she found out. She wanted me to stay at home and relax, my hubby and I moved interstate to be nearer my sister and her family, and he found a wonderful job with loads of money making and career building potential.. I am a very lucky girl to have my sister and a hubby that just rallied around and are doing everything and more to make me realise my dream of motherhood. If anyone out there is reading my story, and can relate to it in anyway, it is never to late and though times will be hard and it seems like there is no way, just trust in the people around you and the higher power, and more importantly yourself that everything will turn out exactly how it is supposed to. I realised you cant control who or where or even ask why!! I hope my story will give someone some hope and lighten the load off the shoulders..... xoxox Happy pregnancy Ladies!!!!
