My doppler came in the mail today.  I was a little discouraged because I couldn't find the baby's heartbeat.  Before we went to bed, DH wanted to try and after about 3 minutes, he found it.  It was the most wonderful sound.  The heartbeat was in the 150s.  It was 167 at my last doctor's appt. at 10w4d and I'm 12w4d today.  Yay, it worked!!!

Well, I can honestly say that my hormones are raging now.  I needed to go home at lunch and do some things.  I decided to get a can of soup out of the pantry for lunch.  Well, I broke the handle off on the electric can opener...couldn't fix it.  Job for DH tonight I guess.  Well, I finally found my manual can opener and it wouldn't open the can.  It would just spin and spin but not cut the darn can.  I commenced to get mad and then out of no where I started just bursting out with tears crying...over a can of soup I couldn't open.  It's not like that was the only thing in my house to eat... This pregnancy is going to be fun!  People (especially DH, since he tends to get the brut of all of my mood swings) better watch out!!!

Well, I got the flu shot yesterday.  I've never had the flu shot.  I woke up this morning with a rash on the opposite arm I got the shot, on my stomach and on my legs (from the thighs down to my knees).  I called the doctor and the nurse asked me if I was allergic to eggs, running a fever, and had ever had the flu shot.  I told them no to all and they said they weren't familiar with a reaction like this and would get with the doctor and call me back...so I'm waiting and dying to scratch!

Well, today was my first visit with OB since being released from RE.  We did the ultrasound this morning.  Did a tummy u/s and so the pictures weren't that great.  But, I heard the heartbeat for the first time and cried!!!  It's 167 bpm.

I was told to stay on progesterone until end of 1st trimester and will stay on Metformin throughout the entire pregnancy.  Things are still great!!!  I thank GOD everyday!  Go back December 3 to see OB and then u/s will be the end of December probably and we will find out what we are having then...
