Lyme Disease rashes

by sweets1974, Aug 28, 2008 03:06AM
I thought I must have pityriasis rosea, but I just noticed another rash that is round and it is on my side between my waistline and underarm. I was picking some berries recently from a tree several times within the last month. My pityriasis rosea was over about 2 months ago and I've been reading that recurrence is very rare. Now I'm really scared.

get tested! WESTERN BLOT IGG/IGM; round rash is usually early lyme indicator/symptom.sorry if I'm alarming you; better alarmed than to dismiss the symptom.check out LYME DISEASE on the internet.lots of info.

No, I appreciate the response. Thank you. My dermatologist wanted to see me tomorrow before the long weekend. Since it is rare for recurrence he wants to make sure that is what it is still. If need be the nurse said they will do a test for lyme disease as well. Thank you again for your response and hopefully what I have won't be anything real bad.Best Regards.
