Bumps on the fingers may be due to herpetic whitlow or dishydrosis. Contact dermatitis may also present as red rash with blisters. Fungal infections may also present similarly. This does not sound serious. Although for cases of herpetic infections this may be readily transmitted through direct skin to skin contact. I suggest that you have this assessed by your doctor if the condition persists .You may need antiviral medications for the first two days that herpetic blisters appear. As for dishydrosis, the blisters may not be painful. Rather, they may present with some itchiness. The itch scratch cycle may lead to excoriations and eczema.
Avoid prolonged washing of hands. Use only mild cleansers when washing the hands. Dryness may cause irritation and breaks on the skin which may aggravate the condition.
