To be honest I don't know what it could be, others on her might, but again I encourage you to almost force her to see a Dr. At the very least she can get on birth control since they don't use condoms.
I appreciate that you are there for your friend, but I would suggest not telling her she was stupid, etc. She's probably already figured that out. Maybe you can offer to go with her to the doctor.
Every state has different laws about notifying parents, but if you call your local std clinic or Planned Parenthood, they can tell you the laws in your state.
If you are in the UK, she can go to any GUM clinic and get tested and they will not tell her parents.
