Sodium intake while having a CSF leak

by tiredofsick198, Jul 24, 2008 02:16PM
My husband had an 8 mm csf leak; it was repaired by surgery. (It was caused by a previous back surgery).  He is presently experiencing mild symptoms that are similar to symptoms he experienced with the csf leak.  We were told to increase sodium and caffeine intake.  I'm wondering how many mg of sodium should we shoot for every day?

Thanks!
