Eye strain

by WarriorOfThePeople3, Jul 19, 2008 10:22PM
Hi it feels like my eyes are very strained and dry. i was wondering if astigmatism  can cause both? also i know that we do not notice our nose when we see but since yesterday i feel like my vision also focuses on my nose when i am looking straight ahead causing my eye strain. is there anything that causes this or is it that im doing it by thinking about it too much?

1. No astigmatism would not cause that.
2. Can't tell, you need to see an eye MD for a comprehensive medical eye exam.

Would you recommend an optpmetrist or ophthamologist? Do you know of any condition that would cause this?

Eye MD = Ophthalmologist that's what you need to see. Look for the MD degree after the name.

Many condiditons might cause this most not serious (need for glasses, dry eyes).
