As avis said, it could last another week. Did you call the Dr about the bleeding?

Hun, I know you want to get a time frame but not many people would go through what you are with xanax w/d..It is always discouraged from c/t any benzo so I do not think you will find many that have done that. you are a strong woman..I give you all the kudos in the world for what your doing. hang in there..it will get better, only time will tell...

yeah going ct on any benzo can be life threatening and deadly, a high enough tolerance and long enough use will cause trenmors convulsions and extreme pain. Ive defintely gone through it before and dint last moret ahn four days it was extreme hell almsot opaite withdrawal times two, it could alst a couple of weeks, you seem to be far along so the worst of it should have passed

A lot depends on how much and how often your dosage was -- can you give some accurate numbers?  For example, I went deep into Xanax usage, gradually, until I was taking 10mg per dose (5, 2 mg bars at a time), and i eventually experienced what I have to believe was hell on earth with a cold turkey withdrawal.  Very dangerous and NOT appropriate.  I have some great literature I would be happy to pass along to you -- I'm not sure exactly how I could get it to you (they are Word docs), but the site where I found my info is "benzo.org.uk" -- you will find EVERYTHING you need to know about what a withdrawal from a benzodiazepine withdrawal will entail, and the safe, proper steps to help you through (with, of course, assistance from professional medical personel!)

Good luck and God bless

** Now, as I look back at your post, I see that you are already on day 13, so I can confidently say that you are WELL past the dangerous part of your withdrawal, and each day will surely bring more clearness and happiness -- great job!
