lazy dentist?

I visited a new dentist yesterday after 4 years without a cleaning.  The cleaning didn't take very long IMO (about 10 minutes), and when he used the polish he only polished the fronts of my six front teeth top and bottom.  My previous dentist had the hygenist polish all sides of all my teeth.  Was my new dentist thorough enough?  Thanks.

Its possible that he wasn't thorough enough.  It depends on how much tartar/plaque you had built up.  I would assume that he removed it all.
