I went to neurologist yesterday.She didnot test anything on brain.She told that not her area.She is on eye and eye related neuro.
I have asked her to recommend to other one.
Do you know what kind of examination will genernal neuro consist?

A general neurological exam has the following components:
Mental status: awareness, response, content of thought, ability of analysis is judged
Cranial nerve examination: Function of all the 12 cranial nerves is assessed eg visual function, ability to smell, taste and hearing, gag reflex.
Motor system: muscle strength and reflexes are tested.
Sensory exam: Heat and cold, pain, pressure, position sensations are tested.
Other parts include gait, deep reflexes, coordination test.
