Whats happening in my brain?

I have these symptoms. I am in IT and not able to perform. So leaving the 3 rd job in 2 years.
Memory loss
Confusion
Illogical thinking
Speech disorder, Sometimes I speak wrong words, difficult to recall word while conversation.
I couldn’t subtract 93-7 yesterday.
If I concentrate on studying new things for few hours, head become heavy and confusing about the contents I read. Not confident at all.
There is no much neurologist who checks brain in Melbourne Australia. Please help

Hi,

I would also suggest you to seek consultation with a physician and undergo a complete neurological examination at the earliest. Good luck!

I really appreciate your response.Thanks a lot!
I went to neurologist yesterday.She didnot test anything on brain.She told that not her area.She is on eye and eye related neuro.
I have asked her to recommend to other one.

Do you know what kind of examination will genernal neuro consist?

Hi,

A general neurological exam has the following components:
Mental status: awareness, response, content of thought, ability of analysis is judged
Cranial nerve examination: Function of all the 12 cranial nerves is assessed eg visual function, ability to smell, taste and hearing, gag reflex.
Motor system: muscle strength and reflexes are tested.
Sensory exam: Heat and cold, pain, pressure, position sensations are tested.
Other parts include gait, deep reflexes, coordination test.

Sounds like some kind of brain fog, which is a symptom to what ever your problem is... I've had brain fog before, Im in IT also.  Hope you get well.
