pain in left and right abdomen

by bashiff, Jul 08, 2008 07:48PM
I had my gallbladder removed a month and a half ago and have been having the same pain as before except more severe. I have been to the Gastro Dr. And he had bloodwork done and a CT they were both normal. He wants me to come back in a few weeks which of course is to long for me. The pain just keeps getting worse. I Have started having fainting spells now and sick to my stomach quite a bit. I think of going to the ER but the town I live in is very small and the Drs are limited. There is not any specialists close so they would just refer me to the same Dr that I am going to. If anyone has any comments I would love to hear from you. I just would like to know what I should be asking my Dr and how long should I live with this.

Your pain probably arise from the bile duct. You may want to ask gastroenterologist to make a MRCP - MRI investigation of the bile duct.
