right axis deviation

I had a ECG/EKG recently as part of the employment process for a firefighter position. The doctor did not clear me because of a right axis deviation. I am a tall, thin male and very athletic. From what I have read this is normal for my build. Is this true and will the stress test show if I am OK or there really is a problem. I asked the doctor if this could be normal for my build (tactfully) and he said he had never heard or read that but it is everywhere I look. This job means everything to me and this is the final step, I have passed all other testing including aceing the physical portion. I take a stress test tomorrow but have never taken one and don't know what to expect except the normal protocol for this test. I am not in a position where I can just go get an approval from a cardiologist and my whole future rides on this approval. I have the results in front of me and I is neg, II is positive, III is positive, and aVF is positive. QRS for the axis is 95 and can give any more info needed if someone can help me out or tell me where I can print some sort of authoritive document or study showing this could be possible and normal.
