penis spasms

hi. i've browsed this forum and had a look at other threads relating to this topic, but i didn't find anything quite matching my issue, so i've decided to open a new thread.
i'm 18 years old. i quite frequently experience a sort of spasm in my penis. sometimes it happens after masturbation, sometimes just all of a sudden, without cause. the shaft of the penis begins to visibly contract and relax again. it's a kind of a pulsating movement. i guess it sometimes happens without me even realizing it, but then again sometimes it is accompanied by a slight, annoying pain. i get all nervous, and the only thing that seems to soothe the pain, is massaging the penis...
anybody know, what this could be?
