I need to know

The last time I was with anyone was 9 years ago. Every time we had sex it burned and had a bad fishy order after sex, went to the doctor and she said I was very clean, called me a week later and said that I had gential herpes and gave me nothing for it. I had my pap a few months ago it was normal about that time It started burning when I went to the bathroom. It burns down there and on the back of my thighs most of the time. After that started I met someone and had a blood test done to make sure I was safe. I do get cold sores, she said I had both herpes. They took a urine test and there was a large amount of blood in it it I am having more test done in a few days. They are going to take xrays of my kidneys and look in my bladder. This burning has been going on for a few months, does not hurt when I wipe, no rash, my legs and butt hurt to off and on

Your symptoms don't sound like any STD. I cannot comment on the long-distant diagnosis of genital herpes; your symptoms don't sound typical, but it was a long time ago and I cannot judge the diagnosis by a health care provider that long ago. You current symptoms don't suggest herpes or any other STD. Aside from herpes, there is no other STD that could possibly show up with symptoms 9 years later.
Your current health care provider could request a blood test for HSV-2, which sould sort out the herpes question. But if positive, it will not necessarily explain your current symptoms.
