Am I at risk? Please help me.

Hi, I'm worried about a possible exposure to HIV.  The story is like this.

I'm circumcised male aged about 29 years. I masturbated with my hands on 26th Jun.  My skin on my penis was dry and soft so there was a chance of very minor cracks because I acted a bit rough on my penis during masturbation.  The next day i.e 27th Jun, I went to Mexican border city Tijuana and had a very short sex with sexual worker of unknown status in Adelita bar.  The sex worker washed her hands before we started.  She first put condom on my penis and then licked it for two minutes and then applied some gel on top of condom.  I told her NO sex and asked her to give only blow job with hands.  But before I realized she got onto me and put my penis in her vagina and started intercourse.  I immediately said NO, then she got off.  But my penis was in her vagina for ~7 seconds.   Then she removed the condom grabbing it from outside.  When she removed it, her hand was fully touching the outside surface of the condom which had contacted her vagina.  After that with the same hand she again applied gel directly on my penis and started rubbing.  NO licking this time.  After 15 minutes I acted my self on my penis with my hands while she was just lying down not touching anything. In between she licked my left hand fingers for a minute.  But after 6 minutes she accidentally hurt my left hand finger with her nail of the finger of the same hand which touched the condom from outside.  I had a very minor injury where my skin came off little bit probably of 1mm area. I did not notice any bleeding or pain that time. Finally I DID NOT ejaculate thoughout.

Now I'm worried about a possible exposure to HIV.  Does any of the above behaviour or acts are risky?  Please suggest my next steps.

Thank you in advance.

you were not at risk from the situation that you described above :)

Thanks everybody.  I'm feeling lot lot better now.

Some more doubts.  They may sound silly but I'm not able to eat and sleep well for the past one week.

I had scabs on my penis the day when I went there.  The scabs were because of my previous days rough masturbating.  When she was rubbing, she was holding my penis completely in her grip and rubbed (back and forth) a bit rough.  Do you think because of this rough handling the possible re-opening of cracks from the scab area is a risk?

I'm getting married after 3 weeks.  Is it safe to go ahead and have sex with my would be wife? or Do you think I need to get HIV tested before that?

by Teak, Jul 06, 2008 05:45PM
Wouldn't have mattered if the scabes came off, you were never at risk. No you don't need to get an HIV test.

Thanks a lot Teak.  I'm lot relaxed now. Hope you read the complete thread above along with my  follow up posts before your comments.   Thanks a million again.  That was my first attempt and it turned out to be a horrible experience.  I will never ever do that mistake again.

One last clarification.  Sorry for bothering you.  My question may appear repeated but I just want to make sure that I have not missed anything. Please answer.

I read that HIV can be transmitted through vaginal secretions.  In my situation above, the  prostitute must have got her hand dirty with her vaginal secretions when she touched/held the condom from out side after removing my penis from her vagina. And later she held my penis with the same hand.  Is this risky?

Thanks in advance.

Still no risk.

Thank you Teak, for answering all my questions very patiently.  One last question.

Since you said "no risk", can I assume that I can happily get married and have my sexual life with my would be wife?

by joana123, Jul 08, 2008 10:59AM
Teak, please answer my question.  This will be my last question.

by Teak, Jul 08, 2008 12:59PM
Of course you can get married. If you are going to cheat on her why get married?

by joana123, Jul 08, 2008 02:20PM
That was the biggest first and last mistake.  I learnt my lesson.

Is there a possibility of other STDs in my situation?

by joana123, Jul 08, 2008 09:58PM
Hi Teak,

I cant even believe that Tek has answered you so much.... Step one just to be safe why not tell your soon to be wife what you have done just in case you were at risk so you both can decide what to do. crappy thing to happen would be that you have coaght some kingd of STD and you now give it to you wife and you never gave her the chance to decide what was best for her life and you have not only sealed your fate but now your poor wife because you decided to have a selfish act of fun behind her back.

Just goes to show you not all doctors are quailified to give correct information on HIV and STDs.

Thanks Teak and bleep.

I'm already down with guilty.  It is killing me.  Not able to concentrate on work and I already screwed up my project.  Was not going to office for past one week.  I really don't know how to get out of this.

bleep...you are right I should let my soon to be wife know about it.  Actually I have decided not to get married.  I loved her so much that I was the happiest man when I got her.  A week ago things looked so bright in life but all has changed with just one stupid blunder selfish act.  I can't bear the thought of loosing her. I really don't know why I did that act and what was there in my mind when I just followed my friends on that night.  I learnt my lesson but in a hard way and it is too late.

Thanks again to everybody for answering my questions and helping me.
