I am a 58 yrs old retired Brigadier from Indian Army.I had an episode of MI in 1991. It was diagnosed as Inferolateral infraction. I was put on beta blockers.
In 2007 I had an episode of VT.I was recommended bypass with implantation of AICD. Bypass was done on 25 Aug 2007 & AICD implanted on 07 Mar 2008. My Q are:
# I recd 2 shocks on 25 May & 08 Jun during sexual activity. Do I abstain from sex?
# What is average life of an AICD?
# Is it normal to get 2 shocke in 4 months time?
# What is the life span of a person post implantation of AICD?
# I am taking normal cardiac drubs like Cordoron200/Approval/Aten25/Nicoran/Rosuvas.
Thanx
