Penis Curvature

by Canuck315, Jun 28, 2008 03:52PM
Ever since I can remember i have had a curvature to the left of my penis. When I was young i used to hide an erection in embarrassment and it would usually be to the left against my leg, i also wore briefs at that time so it was usually on the left side.

The curvature is less then 45 degrees, id say its around 20-30 degrees in curvature to the left. I felt no bump on either side of the penis that might suggest Peyronie's, erections are not painful and are usually fine except for the curvature. One thing i did notice is if i poke or squeeze the right part of the penis it gives a bit of a soreness feeling to it and nothing when i do that to the other side (left side) to which it curves. The curvature is enough that it does interfere with sexual intercourse.

I have read online about natural methods of straightening out by exercise and have started this, but i frankly am kind of in the dark.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, in all honest i want to get rid of the curvature as soon as possible, if not completely then enough so that it is not so noticeable as it is now.

Thank you.

The penis has two tubes of spongy tissue that fill with blood when it is erect. These tubes (corpora cavernosa) are usually of equal length, and with erection, the penis is straight. In some of us the corpora are of unequal length and the penis curves towards the shorter side as it acts somewhat like a bowstring (think bow and arrow). This corporal disproportion can be surgically corrected by taking a small "tuck" in the longer side, thus making the two corpora of equal length. You will need to see a urologist to have this done.
