spotting

I starting spotting yesterday instead of getting my period.  I have always been very regular and have never spotted before.  Last time my husband and I had intercourse my nipples were really sore and I made him stop sucking on them.  I have been extremely tired with no energy what so ever.  I have also been having slight headaches.  I had my tubes tied years ago.  Whats wrong?

Hello,

If you think you might be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test.  If negative, repeat it in a week.  If still negative, keep track of your symptoms for the next 2-3 months and let your Ob/gyn know if they are persistent.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
