Dear Sir,
i got married last year in May. After five month my wife got pregnant even she was having irregular periods (35 – 40 days). when we checked in 12th week the growth of the baby was only 7weeks.The doctor suggested for abortion and we have done the same in end of December. Is it miscarriage? Please explain why it happened?.
After abortion in dec ‘07, there was little bleeding till mid of jan ’08. She got period in 13th Feb ’08 and it continues for five days. Afterwards she is getting regular period (28-30 days). We are having regular intercourse from mid of feb ’08 to till date and not able to make my wife conceive. I had semen analysis (count = 60Million/ml, Modality = 60% , Morphology : 50% normal & 50% abnormal, qty = 2ml., Liquefaction Time - 30 minutes). My wife gone for ovulation study and found one follicle of 16mm in 10th day and 18mm in 12th day. She had HCG injection on the same day and then found it released in another two days. We had intercourse on 13th to 20th day regularly in the night. It was not success as she got periods again on 11th may 08.
Our doctor is suggesting us to go for IUI. Please explain us why we are not success even we had intercourse in the correct time? Also explain is it better for us to go IUI and what is the success rate in this method?
