by brasai, Apr 15, 2008 01:18PM
I have been on treatment for mild hypertension (BP 150-160/100) for about 4 years, with diuretics (one year) Amlodipine (one year) and 2.5 mg for two years now...in a recent Echo a ruptured medial corda of mitral valve was found...there is mild mitral regurgitation...I remain asymptomatic...I am 71 years old, Pediatric Cardiologist. What do you recommned?

Dr., if you are still asymptomatic, I  recommend you only controls with echo for the moment.
Best regards.
