Huntington disease

Can you tell me if a person who died at ageh 49 would already be showing signs of huntigtons disease if they had it?  Also if they had it how bad would the symptoms be?  Thanks.  Any information you can give me would be helpful.  I know my his father had it and one of his sisters does, but I don't know if he was old enough to show signs or if I would have noticed them.
