If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Your not alone. There are so many people in your same boat including me and all we can do is wait. I recommend getting tested at 6 weeks most people will seroconvert by then I expect you to test negative. This is a good indicator but should be confirmed at the 12-13 week mark to be conclusive.
we cannot diagnose what your rash is over the internet...and we are not doctors.
as has been told to you before...if you are worried that you had unprotected sex...then test. that is the only way to know for sure.
If you had protected sex, you were protected so if there was no breakage you did not acquire an STD/nor HIV.
Symptoms are really bad indicators of HIV infection. You may want to have protected sex with the wife and get an STD screening. Like I said, if there was no breakage the chance of catching anything is pretty much 0. If you are unsure, then take a HIV test at 12-13 weeks.
HIV is a fragile virus that is significantly more difficult to transmit from female to male. Goodluck!
You used condoms so you should be okay.
and that you used condoms
and that the odds of infection from female to male is 1 to 2000
I say your odds are not bad at all.
