I am going to my RE tomorrow to start a new cycle.  I am starting injectibles w/ IUI now.  I will be on Menopur and HCG shot.  I am very exited and hopeful that this will be the magical combination that will actually work.

BFP's keep us updated on your pregnancies!  It gives us all so much hope.

Nice to see a Hawaii resident in this forum. I am from Ewa Beach.

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for three years now and had no success. I finally went to see a fertility doctor about a month ago and he started me on Clomid about two weeks ago at day 3 of my period all the way to day 7. I had my hcg shot this last Friday and did my first IUI yesterday morning. We find out if we are with baby in two weeks. I'm so excited!

Thanks for the info on when you found out it was twins. You are so right. One of the very few benefits of going through fertility treatments is that you get so much more care early on in the pregnancy! We're finding out so much more, so much sooner than most women. Thank goodness there's a silver lining in all of this.

Congratulations Jenny! I am 5 1/2 weeks and my EDD is 4/29 so we're probably only a couple days apart!

Sagebrush - good luck to you to all of you trying again this cycle.

Hi,
I'm back on the train! After taking 2 cycles off, I'm now in the 2WW after having my 3rd IUI yesterday. This new clinic I am going to gave me a nasal spray instead of the trigger shot because they say it doesn't give a false positive like the hcg shot does. Has anyone else ever had the nasal spray? I had never heard of it before.
Ok so here we go..one day down and 13 to go ;)

Dr found a 14mm cyst so it doesn't look good for me this month.  I am going to go back in the next few days to see if it magically dissappears.  My mentrual period is very light which is unusual.  He told me to call when it starts flowing heavier.  But it is still light on Day 2 (don't think it is going to get heavier this month).  I am so disappointed!  This is our first month with a fertility clinic so we were so hopeful that this was our month.  Looks like I will probably be waiting until next month.

Well woke up this morning to a heavy flow.  So I go in on Wed. for u/s to see if the cyst has dissappeared.  They will also do blood work to check estrogen levels.  Then hopefully I will get to start my meds for this cycle.  I hope my body will cooperate.  Hopefully this month I can join the BFP's club!!

Don't give up.  I know it is frustrating at times, but it will happen for all of us.

I went in last week for a blood test because my cycle still hadn't started... but I had 3 BFN's from HPT's.  I knew I wasn't, but then after the doctor asked me to get a blood test done, I started thinking- OOOH maybe!!!
Unfortunately the next morning- about 30 minutes before I would have heard from the doctor regarding the blood test results, I received my AF.
So now we are back on the clomid... and I have an ultrasound coming up on 9-11 to see how my body is doing in prep for ovulation.  Then we will try IUI again.

So AF came friday afternoon, back on Clomid, then having my ultrasound on 9/11, then hopefully will have my 2nd IUI on 9/12. This will all depend on which side I will be ovulating from b/c I can only have it done if ovulation is happening on the left side. (My right side is all coiled from my appendix rupturing)(So no attempts will be made with right sided ovulation, too much of a risk of tubal). I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything is on schedule due to the fact if I fly out of town the afternoon of 9/12.So if I do have left sided ovulation I hope that it does happen "on time". We will wait and see.

How are all the BFP's doing?

Hi I am new to this forum and it's nice to read about women that are going through the same thing I am.  I am 31 and ttc for 9 months...not too long, but I am being put on an accelerated timeline because it was discovered last November that I had a borderline ovarian tumor.  I had my right ovary removed and since than all of my tests look great...no hormone, ovulation, blockage problems.  I will be trying iui for the first time this month.  I start on the clomid tomorrow and have my first ultrasound scheduled for 9/10.  I will receive the HCG injection and then the doc will do two rounds of iui back to back.  really hoping this works...for me and for all of you!!   best of luck to all you

Hey...I am from makakilo and just purchased a new home in Ewa beach in Hoakalei, we will move in in February or March.  We'll be neighbors :-)  What doctor do you go to?  I go to Kosasa at kapiolani.  Good Luck...I go for my next IUI on September 8th and 9th.

Thanks for the encouragement!  I go in tomorrow for blood work and u/s.  Hopefully the small cyst is gone and we can start this cycle of meds.  It will be my first month with injectables.  I am a little scared of the needles.  I am trying to stay positive that this will work.  I am so ready for my BFP!

Sounds like we might be in the 2 WW together..... if our U/S are on 9-11.  We can encourage each other while we struggle to wait.
