Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks so much for your note! I'm pretty well medically controlled right now, anxious about winter and the cold, but at least in a better position than last year! I haven't had to use nitro in several weeks, pretty amazing improvement! Yep, being here for those kids is the goal!
Have a great week, and thanks again!

You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today.Susie, I have had you on my mind and thought I should check in on you. Did you get all moved? How is everything going. I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about and have not forgotten you. Let me know how you are please. I am in the middle of the worst Fibro Flare I have ever had.
I will write more later. I am going to go to bed.

Just checking in to see how the move went. I know it takes so long to unpack everything. Glad the muscle came in just at the right time. You sounded like you couldn't carry another box. Good luck. I am sure it will all look great when you are done. Jan

Hi, Susie...
Good luck with the move and the future! You sure have a lot going on at the moment....Be strong!
I grew up doing Hunter/Jumpers, then got into just plain 'ol trail riding, then tried Dressage for a bit, now just like to hack around on my Hanoverian gelding...doing some groundwork...but have a trainer that is taking him to some 3-Day Events and Eventing Derbies. I love the day-to-day care of horse ownership more than anything, but hope to do more riding....just passed a huge bump in my life...still dealing with it....so I have not been riding as much as I want, but I at least see my horse every day and even considering another one! Heavens, don't ya know....it's a disease... this love affair with horses!!!
Take Care!

Hi, Susie!
Welcome to the Large Animals Forum and thanks for your note! With all your experience, I am sure you will be a great asset to the forum and can post some good advice. Sorry you no longer have horses...I hope you can find a way to get around them somehow....they are my sanity!!!
This forum is not partularly active at times, but it is getting busier...which is great. If you know others who would like to join, it is never boring to talk horse-talk about any topic.....problem or brag!! :-)
If there is anyting that I can do for you, or you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for posting in my journal, it's good to find someone who gets the clinic thing. They're a joke, and here in NY it's so over crowded they don't care if you fall on the floor and die. That happened to a woman in Brooklyn a month or so ago, she died in a hospital waiting room in emergency. I see your in chronic pain, I have it too, failed spinal surgery, back and knee issues so all this other stuff makes it worse. What is your pain problem?

Hi Susie, and welcome to the Dogs Community! :-) Thanks so much for the note. Yes, I've definitely been off my game the last few days. It's just part of my ongoing medical issues. I've got a whole lot of scar tissue on my intestines, and sometimes they get twisted enough that nothing passes through them; hence, up comes the food. After so many years you'd think I'd be used to by now, but there is nothing in the world I despise more than throwing up. LOL! My dogs and birds keep me going though. Life would be too awful without being to laugh with my critters. :-)
