this Advertising, Sponsorship and Promotions policy and all other issues associated with
advertising on the MedHelp.org Site. MedHelp.org may change these policies at any time in
our sole discretion by posting revised policies to the MedHelp.org Site.
Prohibited Advertising
MedHelp.org has sole discretion for determining the types of advertising that will be accepted
and displayed on the Med Help Site. MedHelp.org will not accept advertising that MedHelp.org
determines in its sole discretion to be:
- for illegal products;
- offensive material, including material that misrepresents, ridicules, or attacks an individual or group on the basis of color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability;
- related to alcohol, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, gambling, pornography or tobacco;
- fraudulent, misleading or deceptive; or
- injures the good name or reputation of MedHelp.org or the MedHelp.org Site or is otherwise inconsistent with the principles of MedHelp.org and the MedHelp.org Site.
MedHelp.org reserves the right to reject, cancel, or remove at any time any advertising from
the MedHelp.org Site for any reason and will provide prompt notice to the advertiser upon
rejection, cancellation, or removal of any advertising, together with an explanation following
the rejection, cancellation, or removal.
Separation of Advertising between Editorial Content
MedHelp.org recognizes the importance of maintaining a distinct separation between advertising
content and editorial and decision-making content. MedHelp.org Site strives to clearly and
unambiguously identify all advertising as such. Sponsored content must be labeled as being
sponsored and the name of the sponsor is clearly displayed. MedHelp.org also reserves the right
to determine the appropriate placement of the advertising on the MedHelp.org Site. MedHelp.org
retains the exclusive right to determine the way in which any and all search results for specific
information by keyword or topic are displayed on the MedHelp.org Site.

MedHelp.org uses sponsored content from organizations, manufacturers, and other leaders dedicated
to providing health and lifestyle information. While MedHelp.org receives a commercial benefit from
sponsored content, MedHelp.org believers our users also benefit from sponsor information by
providing you with information on therapies, medications, medical devices, health services,
and other products that may be useful or beneficial to you. Sponsored content on MedHelp.org
is content that has been provided by, created by, or funded or influenced by the named sponsor.
MedHelp.org will take do what it is practically able to ensure that you will not confuse
sponsored content with content that is original Med Help content or other non-sponsored
content. MedHelp.org will endeavor to label all sponsored content with "Sponsored by",
"From Our Sponsor" by other means that clearly identifies the sponsor.

- While sponsored content is subject to MedHelp.org's Sponsorship and Promotions Policies, MedHelp.org does not exercise any editorial control over sponsored content and each sponsor is responsible for the accuracy and objectivity of sponsored content.
- Within the sponsor's content, there may be links to the sponsor's web site.
- MedHelp.org does not endorse any specific product, service, or treatment mentioned in any sponsored content.
- The sponsored content generally carries the copyright of the named sponsor or the rightful copyright owner.
Compliance With Law
All advertisers and sponsors must comply with all applicable foreign, domestic and local
governmental laws, including the regulations of regulatory agencies. These laws and regulations
promulgated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC),
including, without limitation, pharmaceutical advertising to physicians and consumers that must be
in compliance with FDA guidelines for Direct to Physician (DTP) and Direct to Consumer (DTC)
advertising as well as underwritten CME programs that must be labeled in accordance with the
guidelines of the Accrediting Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and any other
relevant accrediting bodies. MedHelp.org will not monitor compliance with applicable laws and
regulations. MedHelp.org, however, reserves the right to review any advertising for compliance
with applicable laws and regulations and, if MedHelp.org reserves the right to remove the
advertising it determines in its sole discretion to violate such laws and regulations.
